In regards to the interruption of the Kentucky Derby broadcast on May 4, 2019, there was a technical failure at WKTV which caused a commercial break to run over the start of the race. The commercial break was supposed to run after the race, but a computer malfunctioned. We sincerely apologize for this error and are taking immediate action to avoid similar occurrences in the future. This was the responsibility of WKTV and not Laser Spa or any other advertisers whose commercials ran as part of the malfunction.
